FLOOR RECLAIMED

Solid & Box Beams

Reclaimed Solid Beams are often used as decorative, exposed elements in your home — trusses, ridge beams, rafters, posts and headers, for example. They can be used “as is,” keeping all their own inherent character. Alternatively, they can be surfaced, ground, hand hewn, sanded or sawn to change their original appearance to better fit in with your design expectations. They will enhance any interior space with not only their unique look but also by telling the history that has been preserved in each piece.  Some of these boards and beams go back 200-300 years. Through sophisticated restoration techniques, these historic timbers are salvaged so that you can continue to share their story for generations to come.

If you want customized box beams, we have a wide selection to choose from. Each reclaimed timber beam has an unmatched patina and character that causes your interior design to glow and will unquestionably transform your room into a one-of-a-kind space.  Box beams not only add a dramatic decorative element, but they are also a perfect solution for hiding wiring, speakers, plumbing etc.

Box beams are perfect for matching precise construction measurements and flexibility of design in order to give you a unique rustic look perfectly fit for your space. Box beams are made of three individual pieces of wood that are assembled together to form what looks like a solid beam
